Healing from Within: My Journey to True Wellness

Not long ago, I reconnected with an old friend—someone I hadn’t seen in years. As we reminisced about the past, she suddenly stopped and said, “How the heck did you get here?”

I laughed, a little surprised, and asked, “What do you mean?”

She replied, “This is not the girl I knew back in high school. How did you become this person?”

Her words stuck with me. Because, in truth, I barely recognize that version of myself either.

The Turning Point

My healing journey didn’t begin with some grand spiritual awakening. It started with my body breaking down. I was simply trying to fix the physical symptoms, believing that if I could just feel better, everything else would fall into place.

But healing doesn’t work that way.

I soon realized my body wasn’t just reacting to food, stress, or lifestyle choices—it was carrying deep, unresolved wounds. The childhood experiences I brushed off. The emotional scars from a failed marriage that I insisted had left no impact. The walls I built to prove I was strong, independent, and didn’t need help from anyone.

The body always speaks first, whispering warnings that we often ignore. Until one day, it doesn’t whisper anymore. It shouts.

For me, that moment came when my body quite literally forced me to stop. The fatigue was unbearable. The migraines were constant. Anxiety, digestive issues, shame, and guilt had all settled in, making it impossible to function the way I once had.

That was my rock bottom. And I had two choices: stay there or start climbing. I talk about this in my book too.

Choosing to Heal

At that point, I was desperate. I was willing to try anything. But the traditional medical world wasn’t offering me solutions that resonated. Pills for the rest of my life didn’t feel like healing—it felt like masking the problem.

So, I made a choice: to heal from within.

I dove into natural healing. I experimented. I learned. And little by little, I began to rebuild myself—not just physically, but emotionally and spiritually, too.

I discovered:
Real, clean food that nourished my body rather than depleted it.
Meditation that rewired my mind and shifted my energy.
Reiki that helped me release what I had been holding onto for far too long.

Each piece played a role in my transformation.

Why I Share My Journey

Looking back, I’m grateful for rock bottom. Because without it, I wouldn’t have learned what I know now—not just about healing, but about myself.

And that’s why I share this journey with you. Because I know what it’s like to feel stuck, to feel broken, to wonder if things will ever get better. And I also know that healing is possible.

It’s not always easy. But neither is staying where you are.

If my story resonates with you, if you’re feeling that pull to heal but don’t know where to start, I’d love to support you. Book a free consultation here, and let’s talk about your journey. You don’t have to do this alone.

Healing from within changed my life. Maybe it can change yours, too.
