Years ago, I had already made significant changes to my diet—many of the same principles I now coach others to follow. But despite those improvements, I found myself stuck, unable to feel the relief and balance I was seeking. It wasn’t until I began meditating that everything started to shift. Meditation opened a doorway to alignment, and for the first time, I understood that true wellness comes from a deeper place than just physical health.

Facing New Challenges
Life, of course, doesn’t always cooperate with our plans for balance. Last year, I experienced several major life changes: transitioning to working from home again, losing my job, and, almost simultaneously, being presented with the opportunity to start my own business.
These shifts brought excitement but also unexpected challenges. I found myself once again struggling with my weight and emotions. I’ll be honest—there were moments when I felt like a fraud. As someone who guides others on their wellness journeys, how could I face my own struggles so publicly? I worked tirelessly to find solutions, experimenting with countless strategies, but nothing seemed to stick.
And then, in a moment of exhaustion and frustration, I decided to surrender. I handed my worries, my failures, and my self-criticism over to a higher power.
Returning to the Core
That act of surrender changed everything. I was gently guided back to my core practices: meditation, Reiki, and sound healing. These tools reminded me of the deeper work that I had neglected during my time of striving and struggling.
Surrendering allowed me to forgive myself for being human. It helped me see my struggles not as failures but as an invitation to reconnect with what truly matters. This process of letting go wasn’t just about finding relief for myself—it reignited my passion for supporting others on their journeys.
Because here’s the truth: wellness is not just about food. Sometimes, it’s less about food than it is about the energy we carry, the thoughts we think, and the practices we engage in to nurture our inner selves.

Sometimes, what we need isn’t a stricter plan or a clearer direction. We need something deeper:
