Living in Passion & Truth

This past Wednesday, I had the honor of joining Steve Harper on the Podcast Business News Network for a powerful conversation about health, food, and the delicate balance of emotional, physical, and spiritual well-being. First, can I just say—what a great guy! The conversation flowed effortlessly, and I left feeling energized and grateful for the work I get to do every day.

Even more exciting? I’ll be joining him again for the next four Wednesdays at 2:30 PM EST!

A Moment of Gratitude for the Journey

During our discussion, I had a moment of deep reflection—a realization of just how fortunate I am to be living my passion. Helping others feel better in their bodies, minds, and spirits while guiding them toward their personal wellness goals is truly my calling.

But I also recognize that not everyone gets to do work that ignites their soul. And truthfully, it has been a long road for me as well.

I’ve walked my own path of struggle—through Crohn’s disease, weight challenges, and the tug-of-war with food and balance. And while those experiences were difficult, they have also been my greatest teachers. They have given me more than just theoretical knowledge—I’ve lived the ups and downs, the setbacks, and the triumphs.

The Power of Transparency

There was a time when I felt like a fraud. On days when I indulged in dessert, had that extra drink, or stepped on the scale to see an unwelcome number, I wondered, Who am I to coach others when I still struggle myself?

But yesterday, Steve thanked me for my honesty and transparency. And in that moment, I realized something profound: authenticity is my strength, not my weakness.

Perfection isn’t the goal—alignment is. And I believe that showing up as my real, imperfect self allows me to connect with my clients in a way that’s deeply human and relatable.

Why I Do What I Do

My brother often jokes, “Us Holmes’ are known for oversharing.” While he may see that as a flaw, I see it as one of my greatest assets. Being open and honest keeps me grounded, present, and truly in service to those who need support.

If you’re looking for a coach who understands the journey—who has been there and will meet you with honesty, compassion, and a no-judgment approach—I invite you to book a Free Consultation with me.

I’d love to hear about your journey, your challenges, and your dreams. And if it feels aligned, I’d be honored to support you.

With gratitude,
Coach Candy
